Hands on FPGA Acceleration Praktikum
Part 1: Throughout the lab, we will explore most of CAPI/SNAP features with an "helloworld" type example to exchange data between server memory and FPGA. All we will see can be reused as is for CAPI2.0 or even OPENCAPI with SNAP. We will use the Jarvice cloud developed by our partner Nimbix.
Part 2: Hands-on Session on MetalFS: MetalFS is an additional abstraction layer on top of SNAP, which allows to define data stream operators for near-storage computations. During the hands-on, you will write your own operator, simulate and optionally deploy the result.
