OpenCAPI and CAPI Hardware acceleration enablement
CAPI is a processor interface which is part of the POWER processor chips and which provides the ability to offload and/or accelerate a function on an external hardware accelerator without any additional software driver. This lecture will describe why this new interface will change the way a server can now be used, how performances have improved, and how secure and simple a function can be ported by a software developer to program a FPGA.
